Catalyst prompts users to register their mobile device when they open the Catalyst app for the first time. For security purposes, it is necessary to register a device in order to login. Device registration information is stored in the Portal.
When the Catalyst app opens for the first time on a mobile device, a registration window will display.
Note: Device must be connected to WiFi in order to register. Once a device is registered, data can still be collected offline.
- Enter Username and Password.
- Tap Connect button.
Selective Sync window will display.

Once complete, the Catalyst login page displays. After a device has been registered, a user will only have to enter their PIN to login each time unless a device is manually unregistered OR an update is downloaded from the App Store.
- Enter your 6-10 digit PIN.
- Tap Login button.
Note: The registration process needs to be repeated if your organization is split into sites. If user needs to access more than one site, they should un-register and re-register the device when moving from one site to another.
